Heartbreak

Deep Waters is a heart-wrenching story of one man's fight to come to terms with his wife's death.

This touching and emotional tale allows privileged insight into Gary's mind as he stumbles onward through life and unveils an understanding of why he chose this island to execute his last wishes.

Electric Press magazine says,

"Paul White uses his protagonist, Gary, as a device to explore the depths and fragility of the human psyche. I doubt if you can read this book without shedding a tear, or two… or more."

A New Summer Garden

Sam was a down and almost out, with little prospect for the future, when he meets Rachelle, the beautiful wife of the philanderous Peter, the kingpin of an international criminal business empire.

When Peter catches Sam 'in flagrante' with Rachelle, he ensures Sam's simple life becomes complicated.

What happens next takes Sam on a surreal path, where the only plausible outcome is for Sam to end up in prison or dead... most probably both.

The Orb

The Orb is a fast-paced, urban action, speculative fantasy adventure.

After stealing the Orb from the Librarians, she is on her way to meet the Cardinal who has promised to pay fifty thousand pounds to lay his hands on the Orb.

But the Librarians want their treasure back and are willing to go to great lengths to ensure it happens.

However, they are not the only ones chasing the Orb. Both the Paladin and Mamluk would like the opportunity to taste the secret powers the Orb holds.

They and others are going to make her journey north a very interesting road trip.

NORTH TO MAYNARD

A tale of an urban spirit, a ghost in the machine, during a road trip. It is told as a suspenseful urban fantasy tale.

Paul White has carefully crafted this tale so you are never certain of where it is leading or how it will get there, wherever 'there' is.

The story slowly exposes something which could happen to any one of us, at any time, especially during a road trip North to Maynard.

Mechanical Mike

was first written, in a slightly different form of this book. It was devised as the first in a series for a developing science fiction website.

Alas, the website never came to fruition and poor old Mike languished, rusting away in the archival wastelands of my computer for a couple of years.

I have now dusted Mike down, refurbished and polished him, re-written much and edited more.

Mechanical Mike gave me a lot of enjoyment while I was creating this story.

I have since ventured into writing a few more tales in the realms of sci-fi.

Mechanical Mike is a fun tale, a modern pulp fictional story of robotics, a private eye, a mad scientist, Nazi-occupied France and undying love for a beautiful blond woman.

What more could you ask for?

Three Floors Up

is an uneasy tale of one man's psychosis and its effects all who enter his world, whether intentionally or by circumstance.

"Beginning with an unnamed man observing the street outside his third-floor window, the story builds step by step, navigating the recesses of his mind like an alligator-infested swamp."

"I don’t want to give anything away, so all I will say is this is a very creepy book. Paul White has written a story that makes the reader look at everyone and wondering what goes on in their heads."

This is a tale of dark doings, of murder and distorted perceptions.

Not to be read by the faint of heart.

Miriam's Hex

A dark tale of greed, selfishness and latent curses, laced with black humour, in a light-hearted way.

Miriam wants more, wants bigger and better and pushes poor Peter constantly to provide her with such.

But she unknowingly harbours witchery and releases her Hex onto Poor Peter.

The outcome.... well, you will just have to read Miriam's Hex yourself.
