"This book has an ending I never saw coming, one I could not have imagined." Julie, Yorkshire.

Electric Press magazine says,
"Paul White uses his protagonist, Gary, as a device to explore the depths and fragility of the human psyche. I doubt if you can read this book without shedding a tear, or two… or more."
Sam, a simple gardening man, was a down and almost out. He could see little prospect for his future. Then he meets Rachelle, the beautiful wife of the philanderous criminal kingpin Peter.
When Peter catches Sam 'in flagrante' with Rachelle, he ensures Sam's simple life becomes complicated... very complicated.
It seems the only friend Sam has left in the world is Rachelle, but there is an air of uncertaint... something is not quite...
What happens next leads Sam on a surreal path, where the only plausible outcome is for Sam to end up in prison or dead... most probably both, unless, just unless, he can find a way to end all this.

The Amulet
The Orb
The Orb is a fast-paced, urban action, speculative fantasy adventure.
After stealing the Orb from the 'Librarians', she is on her way to meet the 'Cardinal' who has promised to pay a small, no, a large fortune to lay his hands on the Orb.
But the Librarians want their treasure back and are willing to go to great lengths to ensure it happens.

They are all going to make her journey north a very interesting road trip indeed.
This is a tale of an urban spirit, a ghost in the machine which appreared during Simon and Libby's road trip North to Maynard.

Does this gremlin have plans for their souls? What evil intent might it have?

Paul White has carefully crafted this tale so you are never certain of where it is leading or how it will get there, wherever 'there' is.
The story slowly exposes something which could happen to any one of us, at any time, especially during a road trip to anywhere.
North to maynard
Mechanical Mike
Originally written, as the first story in a series for a developing science fiction website.
Alas, the website never came to fruition and poor old Mike languished, rusting away in the archival wastelands of my computer for a couple of years.
Dusted down, refurbished, and polished him, Mike is now raring for you to read his story
Mechanical Mike is a fun tale, a modern pulp fiction tale of robots, a classic 'gumshoe' private eye, a mad scientist, and the undying love for a beautiful 'pin-up' blond woman.

The scene... Nazi-occupied France during world war 2.
What more could you ask for in a single book?
Three floors up
This is an uneasy tale of one man's psychosis and its effects on all who enter his world, whether intentionally, or by circumstance.

"Beginning with an unnamed man observing the street outside his third-floor window, the story builds step by step, navigating the recesses of his mind like an alligator-infested swamp."

"I don’t want to give anything away, so all I will say is this is a very creepy book. Paul White has written a story that makes the reader look at everyone around them and wonder what goes on inside their heads."

This is a tale of dark doings, of murder and distorted perceptions.
Not to be read by the faint of heart.
Miriam's Hex
A dark tale of greed, selfishness and latent curses, Heavily laced with dark black humour, in a very light-hearted way.
Miriam wants more, wants bigger and better. She is impatient and she wants it NOW.
Miriam pushes poor Peter constantly to have him provide her with such wishes.
But she unknowingly harbours witchery and releases her Hex onto Poor Peter.
The outcome is rather... well, read Miriam's Hex to find out.
